1. Shipping Areas:

   - Within New Zealand: We ship insects to all areas except for the Northland region, where big head ants cannot be shipped.

   - Overseas: We can ship farms and tools internationally, but no live ants or insects.

2. Shipping Schedule:

   - Live products are shipped only on Monday and Tuesday, and sometimes Wednesday, depending on the distance.

   - Non-live products are shipped from Monday to Friday.

3. Shipping Risks:

   - All shipments are sent from Auckland at the buyer's risk.

   - There is a risk of insects dying during transit. Please do not purchase if you are not willing to accept this risk.

4. Refunds and Returns:

   - Dead Insects: No refunds or returns are accepted if insects die after revival. You must check the insects upon arrival. If they arrive alive but die later, no refund or return will be issued. However, a discount for replacement may be offered if you contact us with photos and a polite request.

   - Dead Insects Refund/Replacement: To claim a refund or replacement for dead insects, you must provide a short video clearly showing all dead insects in the container.

   - Non-Live Items: For farms or other non-live items, you must return the item to us before receiving a refund or replacement.

5. Ant Shipping:

   - Ants are generally safe in parcels, with a 99% survival rate. They can survive for up to a week without food. However, if the parcel is left in the sun for too long, the ants may die. Always check the tracking link and bring the parcel inside as soon as it arrives.

   - No refunds or replacements will be issued for dead ants.

6. Seasonal Risks:

   - During summer, insects like springtails, isopods, and daphnia have a higher risk of dying during transit, with only an 80% survival rate. Shipping is always at the buyer's risk.

   - In winter, the survival rate is 99%.

   - If all insects arrive dead, take a photo or video immediately and email us. We may offer a one-time replacement for springtails and daphnia, charging only the shipping fee (does not apply to ants or other insects).

7. Ant Colonies:

   - For large ant species like Dracula ants or Austroponera castaneicolor, we ensure the correct number of ants as listed.

   - For big head ants, we guarantee the correct number of queens but cannot guarantee the exact number of soldiers and workers. We will send the best colony available.

8. General Notes:

   - We have over 3 years of experience shipping live insects. Most insects can survive in a parcel for up to 2 weeks. The primary cause of death is excessive heat, such as when parcels are left in the sun or near a van's engine. Always track your shipment and retrieve it promptly.
