What to Do When You or Your Child Loses Interest in Pet Ants

If you or your child no longer wishes to keep pet ants, here are your options:

1. Return the Ants to Us:

   - Email me at pin@antsinnz.co.nz.

   - Package the ants securely in a box and let me know the box size.

   - I will arrange for a courier to pick up the box and return the ants to me.

2. Sell Them on TradeMe:

   - You can list your ants for sale on TradeMe.

   - Ensure the listing complies with TradeMe's guidelines and accurately describes the ants and their condition.

3. Release into Nature (With Caution):

   - All ants I sell are legal in New Zealand, but releasing them into nature requires careful consideration.

   - Email me first with details about:

     - The type of ant you have.

     - The city or area where you plan to release them.

   - I will advise whether releasing them is a good idea, as the ants may not survive in the local environment.

Important Notes:

- Releasing ants into the wild without proper guidance can harm local ecosystems or the ants themselves.

- Always contact me first if you're unsure about the best course of action.
