Suggested Experience: Beginner red legs, red gaster tip and mandibles. Darker body segments shine a deep ocean blue when in good lighting conditions. These ants are unable to climb both glass and plastic surfaces meaning that most enclosures are escape proof! These ants do have a rather nasty sting so be careful not to pick them up barehanded.
