common fruit fly - one cup

This list is for 1 x plastic cup (include common Fruit Fly Culture, media, wood wool inside)

this is common fruit fly, which can fly lots, once you open, it will fly out every quick, better put whole cup in your frog tank, and open the red lid, it will fly out.

commer fly hatch faster than flyless fly. in summer commer furit fly need 6-8 days, flyless need 10-12 days. in winter, will around 20 days.

please understand, media may leak out some during shipping, but total ok for the culture

fly will slow dead out around 3 weeks, after that you need set up new one.

instruction for set up new:

each culture media can use around 3-5 weeks, 

how to set new cup?

step 1 : pour culture media in cup 

step 2 : add 50ml water

step 3 : mix up

step 4: add 5ml vinegar then mix up again

step 5: put wood wool in

step 6: open red lid from the cup have fly (or your old culture), and tap the cup to pour fly in new cup.

step 7: put lid on

all good to go, fly will need 1-2 weeks lay eggs and hatch out.

After 3-4 weeks, you will found there is not much fly left, it's time to start new one, that's why there is 3 cup total, so you always have one can use for set up new culture. you just need do the 7 step again.
